How to deployOpenCodegeneratedHTML
August 18, 2026 · 2 min read
OpenCode just built you an HTML page in the terminal and now you want a link you can send, not a file. You don't need to host or deploy anything yourself. Stash it to DocStash and OpenCode's HTML is live at a shareable URL in a couple of steps. Here are the two ways to do it.
Option 1: Already have the HTML? Upload it
- Open DocStash and click New document.
- Drop in your HTML file (or choose it from the picker).
- Click Stash. Unlike drag-and-drop hosts that hand you a public URL the moment you drop a file, DocStash keeps your page private by default, like a document in Google Drive.
- Share it. Click Publish for a public link, or share it with specific people individually.
Option 2: Let OpenCode do it for you (way easier)
- and follow the quick setup. No API keys.
- Ask OpenCode to create the page. Say something like "host this as a page on DocStash". OpenCode is a terminal agent, so instead of an inline preview it returns a review link you open in your browser. Nothing is saved yet.
- Review it, then stash. Open the review link, and when the page looks right, tell OpenCode to stash. That saves the page and gives you a stable link like
docstash.ai/<slug>. It stays private until you make it public in one click. - Iterate, at the same link. Ask OpenCode for any change and it pushes a new version to the same URL, so the link never changes. Prefer an earlier take? Revert to any previous version with one click.

FAQ
Is it free?
Yes. Creating, hosting, and sharing pages is free to start.
Does the link change when OpenCode edits the page?
No. Every edit is a new version at the same URL, and older versions stay reachable so you can revert.
Is my page public?
It is private by default. You choose to share it as a public link or with specific people.
Why a review link instead of an inline preview?
OpenCode runs in the terminal, which can't render an inline widget. DocStash returns a review link so you still see the exact page before you stash it.
Does this work with Claude, ChatGPT, and other AI tools?
Yes. DocStash works with any MCP-aware assistant, including Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Gemini, and Codex.
