Muse built you an interactive page and you want to send it to a few people, without it turning up on Google. A shared Muse page can land in Google Search, and Muse gives you no way to keep it out. Here is what Muse does and doesn't let you control, and how to publish a Muse page that anyone with the link can open while search engines skip it.
What Muse tells you about sharing
- Nothing leaves without your OK. Muse saves pages, documents, and code to your Library, and only shares them outside Muse when you turn sharing on or approve it.
- It can land on Google. Once a page is shared, search engines can index it. Muse has no noindex option and no setting to keep a shared page out of search.
- No control after sharing. There is no way to limit a shared link to certain people, add a password, or use your own domain.
Publish it on DocStash instead
DocStash is a home for the pages your AI makes. A page you publish there opens for anyone with the link, no login needed, but it tells search engines not to index it, so it always stays off Google. You can also share it with only certain people. Bring the HTML you already have, or connect Muse and let it stash the page for you.
Already have the HTML?
- Drop the file below. Drag it anywhere on this page, or choose it. It becomes a webpage with its own link, private until you publish it.htmlmdtextpdf
- Share it. Click Publish for a public link, or share it with specific people.
Let Muse stash it for you
- and follow the quick setup. Muse adds DocStash as a custom connector.
- Ask Muse to stash it. Say "stash this page to DocStash". You get one link like
docstash.ai/<slug>, private until you publish it. - Publish it, out of Google. Click Publish and anyone with the link can open it, no login needed. DocStash tells search engines not to index it, so it always stays off Google.
- Choose who sees it. Keep it private, share it with certain people as viewers or editors, or publish it. Unpublish any time and publish again at the same link.

FAQ
Do shared Muse pages show up on Google?
Yes. A shared Muse page can be indexed by Google, and Muse has no setting to stop it. DocStash always keeps published pages out of search, so a Muse page you publish there stays off Google.
Can I share a Muse page with only certain people?
No. A shared Muse link can't be limited to certain people. On DocStash you can share a page with specific people by email, or publish it for anyone with the link.
Does Muse work with DocStash?
Yes. Muse supports custom MCP connectors, so you can add DocStash and ask Muse to stash pages straight to it.
Can I put the page on my own domain?
Yes. On Pro, connect a domain you own and your published pages serve from it.
Can I update the page after publishing?
