Muse's built-in connectors cover Google's apps, Notion, Slack, GitHub, Shopify and Meta's own apps like Instagram, turned on from Settings, then Connectors. Custom connectors work differently. There is no form. You ask Muse in chat to add one and give it an MCP server URL, and Muse sets it up, tests it, and keeps it for later chats. The server has to be reachable on the public internet.

Claude, ChatGPT and other agents connected to DocStash can pick up the same page.
- Ask Muse to save it. Say "save this page to DocStash". Muse replies with a review link, and when you say stash you get a link like
docstash.ai/<slug>, private until you share it. - Keep building. Ask for changes and save again. The same link shows the latest version, and Activity keeps every earlier one.

Does Muse support MCP?
Yes. Muse builds custom connectors from MCP server URLs, alongside its built-in connectors.
Why is there no form to add a custom connector?
Muse adds custom connectors through the chat instead. Tell it the service and give it the server URL, and it does the setup.
Can I connect a server that runs on my own computer?
No. Muse needs a public URL, so a server on localhost won't work.
Is it safe to add a custom connector?
Meta doesn't review custom connectors, so only connect services you trust.
