  • Gemini builds HTML pages in Canvas. Its Share button gives you a public gemini.google.com link.
  • That link keeps no earlier versions, can't use your own domain, and doesn't show who opened it.
  • Save the page to DocStash for one link that opens in any browser, on your own domain if you want, with viewer analytics.

Gemini builds web pages and apps in Canvas. Sharing one from Gemini gives you a public link on gemini.google.com. Here is how to give it a link you control instead.

Can Gemini publish it by itself?

Yes. The Share button in Canvas makes a public gemini.google.com link. That link has limits.

  • It keeps no earlier versions.
  • It can't use your own domain.
  • It shows no view counts.

Publish or share Gemini's HTML with DocStash

DocStash hosts the pages, apps and docs your AI makes. Gemini connects to DocStash as a custom app, so it can save a Canvas itself. You get one link that stays private until you share it, opens in any browser, and keeps every version. On Pro it can use your own domain and show view counts.

Already have the HTML?

  1. Drop the file below. Drag it anywhere on this page, or choose it. It becomes a webpage with its own link, private until you publish it.
    htmlmdtextpdf
  2. Share it. Click Publish for a public link, or share it with specific people.

Let Gemini save it

  1. Connect Gemini to DocStash. Click the button below and follow the setup.
  2. Ask Gemini to save it. Say "save this Canvas to DocStash". Gemini replies with a review link. Say stash it and you get a link like docstash.ai/<slug>, private until you share it.
  3. Share the link. Make it public, or invite people by email. A public link opens in any browser, no account needed.
  4. Keep building in Gemini. Ask for changes and save again. The link stays the same and opens the newest version.

Your own domain, and who opened it

FAQ

Can I share a Gemini Canvas without DocStash?

Yes. The Share button in Canvas makes a public gemini.google.com link. Anyone with the link can open the page, but it keeps no version history, can't use your own domain and shows no view counts.

Does the person I share with need a Google account?

No. A DocStash link opens as a normal web page in any browser, on phones too.

Can I share a page without connecting Gemini?

Yes. Save the HTML from Canvas as a file and drop it into DocStash in your browser. You get the same kind of link.

Can I put it on my own domain?

Yes. On Pro, connect a domain you own and your published pages serve from it.

Can I see who opened it?

On Pro, every link shows views, unique visitors, countries, devices and referrers. DocStash uses no cookies and doesn't track individual people.

Do I have to deploy Gemini HTML or artifacts to share them?

No. There is no server, build step or hosting account to set up. Stash the page or artifact and DocStash serves it at one link, private until you publish or share it.
